It\u2019s strange how everywhere<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I turn my head<\/p>\n\n\n\n
these days<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I see only people dying<\/p>\n\n\n\n
or shadows of people<\/p>\n\n\n\n
about to die.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each page flip,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
each channel change,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
each blip on my news feed,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
brings a notice<\/p>\n\n\n\n
that another has died<\/p>\n\n\n\n
meaning,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s like when you<\/p>\n\n\n\n
finally get the cash together<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and drive off the lot<\/p>\n\n\n\n
pleased as punch with<\/p>\n\n\n\n
your new, shiny red sedan<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and by the time you get<\/p>\n\n\n\n
the 10 blocks home,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
you\u2019ve seen 3 others<\/p>\n\n\n\n
just like it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All you can do \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
all you can ever do<\/p>\n\n\n\n
is just sit back<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and enjoy the ride<\/p>\n\n\n\n
