{"id":1058,"date":"2021-03-29T10:18:45","date_gmt":"2021-03-29T14:18:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ddeubel.me\/poetry\/?p=1058"},"modified":"2021-03-29T10:18:45","modified_gmt":"2021-03-29T14:18:45","slug":"the-bar-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ddeubel.me\/poetry\/the-bar-2\/","title":{"rendered":"The Bar"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I am having my usual<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 litres in a Victoria Frost cooler<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>while the 80s playlist<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>plays down,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lionel Ritchie, Richard Marx<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and all those other sellouts<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>then<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a Cheap Trick rocks on<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m happy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>bouncing around the bar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>everything is in its place<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>this most democratic town square<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; a bar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>of cowboys, lovers, students and mayors<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a bar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>where we all watch<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>each other<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the whole afternoon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>become a little more closer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>to who we really all are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Say you &#8230; say me &#8230;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>October 21st, 2020.
