pull angels down from heaven<\/p>\n
and threaten them with<\/p>\n
clipped wings<\/p>\n
if they did not reveal their secrets.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
For you I would<\/p>\n
build a fence around the moon<\/p>\n
or sentence the sun to<\/p>\n
the electric chair.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
For you I would<\/p>\n
fall in a heap to the ground<\/p>\n
doing penance for just being born,<\/p>\n
watching passively as<\/p>\n
young children stone away my life.<\/p>\n

bifocaled, bearded, bored<\/p>\n

black with anger<\/p>\n
spitting out quarters<\/p>\n
at passing armored cars.<\/p>\n
