{"id":172,"date":"2010-02-02T13:58:05","date_gmt":"2010-02-02T04:58:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ddeubel.me\/poetry\/?p=172"},"modified":"2011-12-17T20:16:06","modified_gmt":"2011-12-18T01:16:06","slug":"thoughts-after-reading-gurdjieff-late-at-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ddeubel.me\/poetry\/thoughts-after-reading-gurdjieff-late-at-night\/","title":{"rendered":"Thoughts after reading Gurdjieff late at night"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A god that is a solution to all things &#8211; is a solution to no thing.<\/p>\n<p>What is real can never appear &#8211; it only has appearances.<\/p>\n<p>Love is what is left after both entering and exiting desire.<\/p>\n<p>Energy is eternal delight &#8212; all that is, has always been.<\/p>\n<p>Sleep is the foundation of all being &#8211; like stillness the core of all movement.<\/p>\n<p>Only if we escape from ourselves will we remember ourselves and then become what we really are.<\/p>\n<p>Man is a drop of water that flows in two streams. He is always trying to unite and reconcile the original fall.<\/p>\n<p>All truths are beautiful. Existence knows nothing of randomness, chance and open design.<\/p>\n<p>Passivity is never a way forward unless it is the way forward.<\/p>\n<p>All things come to us.\u00a0 Thoughts come to us &#8211; we are but a receiver.<\/p>\n<p>A poem is a claw hold up a mountain with no summit.<\/p>\n<p>Everything in life is in the service of action.
