Worn, weathered body rests under<\/p>\n
yesterday’s news<\/p>\n
so come morning to sing<\/p>\n
today’s blues,<\/p>\n
under the all forgiving eyes<\/p>\n
of park bench sunrise.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
People pass, high class worker bees<\/p>\n
noticing only the virgin stench<\/p>\n
rising from the sluttish bench,<\/p>\n
but never to lose their disguise<\/p>\n
amid the humbling rays<\/p>\n
of park bench sunrise.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The clean toothed look is in<\/p>\n
among the people of the park.<\/p>\n
Their haggard soul born of others sin,<\/p>\n
their guilt removed come the dark.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Who to wonder how these people fair?<\/p>\n
Who to care?<\/p>\n
Except those whose eyes<\/p>\n
by will alone have seen<\/p>\n
