Here I sit<\/p>\n
stuck between<\/p>\n
two eternities,<\/p>\n
history and<\/p>\n
the history that will be.<\/p>\n
A flake off someone’s life<\/p>\n
that isn’t any more<\/p>\n
falling<\/p>\n
waiting<\/p>\n
to hit the ground<\/p>\n
and fill it<\/p>\n
beyond imagination<\/p>\n
beyond\u00a0 horoscopes<\/p>\n
beyond hunger<\/p>\n
beyond new beginnings<\/p>\n
beyond new years.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I put my hat on<\/p>\n
and count, 10, 9, 8 ……..<\/p>\n
I count the days until<\/p>\n
I count no more.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Ah! But then there will be fireworks!<\/p>\n
The end, an unending hangover.<\/p>\n
