One stab, one kick, one grin<\/p>\n
after another, after another, after another<\/p>\n
while the darkness all together smothered<\/p>\n
any heavy breathed fright<\/p>\n
and nervous dogs whelped out of sight.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And I in shock<\/p>\n
by the fire<\/p>\n
in my more than human way<\/p>\n
stood up to say;<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“Stop! Isn’t once enough?”,<\/p>\n
To which the brightest replied<\/p>\n
