Happiness<\/p>\n
is not a general thing.<\/p>\n
It is not a state<\/p>\n
it moves<\/p>\n
and is digested<\/p>\n
like salad leaves<\/p>\n
off the plate.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Happiness<\/p>\n
is not what is.<\/p>\n
At rest it disappears<\/p>\n
it is the eye of interest<\/p>\n
a going there<\/p>\n
a doing that<\/p>\n
a mind that remakes all<\/p>\n
an embracing even of that<\/p>\n
which against us might just fall.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Happiness<\/p>\n
is not a thing.<\/p>\n
A car, a child that is mine<\/p>\n
it is what can be<\/p>\n
what might we always find<\/p>\n
never looking behind<\/p>\n
it is that fear unfounded<\/p>\n
because the eye is up ahead.<\/p>\n
Happiness a kind of compass<\/p>\n
memory unbled.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Happiness<\/p>\n
is what is alive.<\/p>\n
That is each moment more<\/p>\n
in interest<\/p>\n
in possibility<\/p>\n
how in thought<\/p>\n
we can walk through<\/p>\n
every door<\/p>\n
pushed by the question<\/p>\n
what is this life for?<\/p>\n
