I lost big at the poker table
\nand the zipper on my coat
\nwouldn’t go north.<\/p>\n
Jumped in the car for home.
\nMy motor was coughing and pissin’
\nSo I pulled over
\nfor a nice glass of Pastis
\nand they were out.
\nI left a tip and
\nwent home with a club soda.<\/p>\n
Somedays, you just can’t win.<\/p>\n

\nyou never win,
\nyou just convince yourself
\nluck will return
\nas the big dices in the sky
\ncome up snake eyes
